NRMA Insurance SurfGroms at Bombora Surf School
This program helps kids develop the skills, confidence and ocean awareness they need to enjoy surfing. Each session is fun, engaging and supportive, with a focus on building surf skills, water confidence, ocean safety and a positive connection with the ocean.
The program is proudly delivered by Bombora Surf School, a First Nations owned and operated surf school. Surfing Australia-accredited coaches and First Nations Lifeguards create a safe, supportive and positive environment for every grom.
The September School Holiday Program runs across three consecutive days, with one 90-minute session each day. Mini Groms aged 5–8 will learn the foundations through fun and active sessions, while Super Groms aged 9–12 will build confidence and develop their surfing skills through more advanced coaching.
