Wahu

For over a decade Wahu has been developing and introducing to the marketplace innovative quality water and beach sports products and toys to support the Australian lifestyle.

Wahu has been involved with Surfing Australia for the past three years in sponsoring the development of aspiring “super” groms through the annual national Wahu Surfer Groms Comps run in each state.

The VEGEMITE SurfGroms sponsorship is a further opportunity for Wahu to follow through on its commitment to “Where there is water there is Wahu”.

The VEGEMITE SurfGroms program is an integrated extension of the Wahu Surfer Groms Comp but at the foundational level. “Mini” groms are helped to understand the natural elements of the surf with respect and confidence so as to be able to actively participate in the enjoyment and physical development that it can bring through surfing. The use of Wahu products forms an important part of the curriculum design for this program.
